Theory as text or theory as activities?

In this article, which was delivered as a keynote address at the annual meeting of Swedish Sociological Association on March 16, 2022 in Uppsala, following argument is made. Two different approaches to theory sociology are presented and discussed: text activities. former, seen embodied text, focus squarely its content. Little attempt made discuss how actually developed use it. activities, contrast, main work with concrete manner. The basic unit analysis here not just theory, but part research process. Theory, method facts all linked together process partly overlap.
